High Performance Property Inspections is owned and operated by Michael Tomasz, a TREC professionally licensed home inspector, and native Texan. Michael is accredited by the United States Green Building Council, certified by InterNACHI®, and has a BA and MA degrees from the University of Cincinnati and Yale University. Michael lives in the Austin/Dripping Springs area with his wife, children and two golden retrievers.

Performance is at the core of my business philosophy. As a classical musician turned real estate property professional, I have a client-focused approach ensuring my own performance reflects in my client’s comprehensive understanding of the performance of their home. 

Inspections are necessary for any current or new property owner who is depending on an assessment of their property’s performance to understand safety concerns, maintenance needs, and expectations for overall systems operation. Unfortunately, it is common to have an inspector hurriedly “inspect” a person’s home in little- to- no time so that they can get on to the next home and make more money. High Performance Property Inspections will schedule no more than one inspection a day, with a keen focus on concerning issues you may encounter as a home owner.
